Hollie DeBaro
I am excited to be one of the fundraisers for Stronger Together - Haven House's 2024 Annual Campaign.
My goal is to raise at least $1,000 or more to support Haven House's mission of helping youth be safe, supported, and successful.
You matter! Haven House must have a successful annual campaign to be able to continue doing their important work helping local youth overcome their challenges.
Did you know?
-- Haven House served 1,519 youth last year, an increase of 25% from 1,207 youth the previous year.
-- Older youth in our community are struggling - the number of 16-24 year olds served in Haven House's Street Outreach program alone increased 80% last year.
-- There are still many youth struggling with mental health challenges – 70% of youth served last by Haven House last year experienced trauma and 36% were depressed and/or anxious.
-- Over the past few years, Haven House hired several new staff to have the capacity to address the challenges listed above.
We are Stronger Together - join me and your community to make a difference in the life of local young people.
Make your monthly or one-time donation today!
P.S. If you want to learn more about Haven House's long history (51 years!!) in Wake County, check out this 1-minute 50th anniversary video at: tinyurl.com/haven50video
P.P.S. Spread the word about the great work Haven House is doing - tell a friend why you chose to support the Stronger Together campaign.
